About Hometown Pantry

Located at 201 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704, Hometown Pantry operates as an other food place serving Springfield in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 4 am–2 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (217) 525-2449. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is hometownpantry1.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 39 reviews, which is a strong result for an other food place in Springfield and suggests consistent service.

Getting around Springfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My granddaughter loves their subs. They are a bit expensive but can trust their meats.

Went in the other day to buy ginger ales and the coolers were disgusting. Crust, rust and mold in the gaskets. Dead bugs on the floor underneath the the cold drinks. Mask mandate on the door, but the people and employees not using masks. No one applying the social distancing rule. What a joke.

The sandwiches are really tasty here. If you've not had 1, I suggest you go and have one made. The portions are right on (for me anyhow) to the price and they seem happy to make them for you. If for no other convenience the sandwiches are worth a random pit stop.
